Default Reverting Back to 10.6.2/Time Machine bug? - 05-01-2010, 08:13 PM

So I went directly from 10.6.1 to 10.6.3 through a combo update, and its not really working out for me. There is a noticeable difference difference in speed and I run into bugs every now and then.

I was able to back up my 10.6.1 system through Time Machine, but whenever I try to enter the Time Machine it doesn't seem to work (the nice scrolling-through-space interface doesn't appear, instead a finder window opens showing the contents of my backup drive).

Is there any way I can go back to 10.6.2, either through Time Machine or something else? I could restore my system from backup, but I wiped my original usb that contained the install CD..

I'm considering just wiping and doing another reinstall with the install CD...

you have to use the install CD or usb stick that had the original install on it. once you boot from the usb, select the restore from time machine, select the HD you have your back-ups on, let it do it's thing and then run NBI (I used 8.3 Final) again and then reboot.

Mini 10v (Black) - BIOS A06 - Mac OS X 10.6.0 - 1GB RAM - 320GB HDD (7200 rpm) - NBM via USB - NBI (ending with 51) - Legacy Off

Had a happy 10.6.6 machine and updated to 10.6.7, but no love...maybe I'll do a vanilla install...but probably not.
