Default HELP: Another Person That Accidently Updated to 10.6.3 - 04-19-2010, 10:39 PM

Hey guys. So, I am just another victim of accidentally updating my Hackbook to version 10.6.3 without first running the newest version of NBI. I've been scouring these forums for the solution and I believe that all I have to do are these things in this order:

1. Reformat SL 10.6 USB image in Disk Utility
2. Re-install SL from External Hard Drive with formatted image
3. Run NBI 0.8.4
4. Voila?

Can anybody if this simple process is all that is needed to revert back to 10.6 and then be able to successfully update to 10.6.3? And I'm unsure of whether I'm supposed to run NBI 0.8.4 BEFORE or AFTER the initial SL installation. If anybody could help me out here, that'd be wonderful. Thanks!

EDIT: And should I use NBM 0.8.3 or 0.8.4 to reformat the new SL disk image?

The same thing happened to me, did you find a solution? Is it possible to recover my data before reinstalling the OS and updating?

Thanks in advance!

search on "snow leopard archive and install", see if that is what you had in mind.

So, I basically followed my own steps and was able to reinstall SL and successfully update to 10.6.3 after running NBI 0.8.4. Thanks for everyone's help!
