Default How to downgrade to 10.6.2 - 04-12-2010, 03:32 AM

Thanks to the guides on this forum, I was able to get my dell 10v dual booting with factory xp and snow leopard. I did the update to 10.6.3 and am having wifi issues. I see many post from people who have downgraded back to 10.6.2, but I have not seen any guides on how to do this. Please let me know.

Default OK, I figured it out... - 04-13-2010, 12:43 AM

Incase anyone had the same question. You just need to install it again over your existing installation using the same usb boot drive. No data will be lost. Then download 10.6.2 combo update from apple and update to it. All is well.

You could also use Time Machine back up and do a restore, which is what I did.

Mini 10v (Black) - BIOS A06 - Mac OS X 10.6.0 - 1GB RAM - 320GB HDD (7200 rpm) - NBM via USB - NBI (ending with 51) - Legacy Off

Had a happy 10.6.6 machine and updated to 10.6.7, but no love...maybe I'll do a vanilla install...but probably not.
