Default Are there Updates, we should skip? - 04-03-2010, 06:39 PM

Hi all,

additional to the 10.6.3 update option, my dell mini 10v shows me a lot of other possible updates. E.g. Airport update, iTunes update, Java update...and so on.

Is it safe, to install such updates or should they be skipped?

I´m running a Dell mini 10v, OSX 10.6.2, 1GB, no Bluetooth.

Mini 10v (160 GB HDD, 1 GB RAM,OS X 10.6.2, NBI 0.8.3)

Everything is safe other than 10.6.3, which is safe if you install NBI 0.8.4RC1 first (and can live with some of the issues/bugs that have not been quashed yet in RC1).

Dell Mini 10v | Mac OS X 10.6.2 | Windows 7 Professional | Ubuntu Netbook Remix 9.10 | 1GB RAM | 160GB HDD | BIOS A05 | USB Legacy: OFF | USB Wake: OFF | BT: Enabled (self-installed BCM2046) | NBI 0.8.3 final

I don't know if it's just me but my wifi has been erratic since I installed the airport base update a few days ago after upgrading to 10.6.3.
Every half hour or so I lose internet access and need to turn airport off and on again to restore it
