Here's my setup:
I have a Mini10v, with 3 partitions:
Windows 7 Pro
Fat32 data share
The system worked fine with 10.6.2.
I installed 0.8.4, installed the combo update to 10.6.3, let it reboot, it sat at the netbook icon for a while, then rebooted as it should, then came up with the dreaded no boot device (little circle with line thru it icon)
I tried rebooting with rd=disk0s2 (I checked via my boot key that the boot partition for osx is disk0s2) but I still get the same thing. I can get somewhat into the system with -x, but I can't use the keyboard or click the mouse button - just move the mouse around.
I went ahead and re-installed OSX with my usbkey that has 0.8.4 on it - everything went fine - then went and installed the 6.3 update and once again I'm at the can't find boot device icon.
I'm sure at least part of this has to do with my dual boot setup, but I don't know how to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
******* Update *******
I obviously didn't wait long enough with the -x start - I waited a while longer and finally I could use the keyboard and mouse properly. I could log in and OSX was working, but I don't know how to fix the systems to I can start normally.
