I just installed snow leopard with an external dvd drive and netbookinstaller 0.8.3 and everything went smoothly and works except there is no icon for the hdd on the desktop. I can see it in the finder but would like to add it to the desktop, is there a way? Thanks |

Open Preferences in the Finder menu. Under the General tab you should find, "Show these items on the desktop". Select "Hard disks" and all should be good. Finder->Preferences. Check the things you want to show up on the desktop. If it's not broke, take it apart and see how it works |
