Default 10.6.2 update - 03-15-2010, 11:50 PM

i didnt really know where to post this so sorry! I have a mini 10v with 10.6.1 and windows 7 on it. ive tried to update to 10.6.2 a couple times using the patched kernel and instructions online and it always causes a kernel panic even with the sleepenabler.kext removed. can anybody give me step by step instructions and why it might be causing a kernel panic? thanks

No need to use a patched kernel. Just run NetbookInstaller 0.8.3 final before updating to 10.6.2 (make sure to check the install bootloader box in NBI), reboot after updating, run NBI again, and reboot again. NBI installs a special version of the Chameleon bootloader that patches the kernel in memory.
