Which guide to use to install - 03-15-2010, 04:12 PM
Good afternoon everyone,
My mini 10v is supposed to be delivered tomorrow, so I want to get some of the pre-work done today for it. However, I'm not sure what the best (easiest, most used, etc) guide for the install is. I tried to do some searching, but there doesn't seem to be an area on the site (that, or I just am not looking in the right spot, which is entirely possible) with guide links.
I did find this one, which seems fairly straight forward:
What are people's experiences with this?
Also, I have access to an 8gb flash drive, but also to an external DVD drive. Is there a upside to either one? I assumed that more people use the USB way of installing because they don't have access to an external DVD drive? Or is it just easier and cleaner to use the USB?
Thanks in advance for any help, and I apologize for asking typical newbie questions.
