Hi Folks

Few questions that "mounted up" recently - I preferred collecting them on one post instead of opening 3 threads..

1. I am running OSX 10.6.1 on my 10v - lately performance has become unbearable - I have not idea where to start searching for source and thought of upgrading to 10.6.2 as away to "reset" the OS and maybe solve the performance degradation.. does it make sense? does 10.6.2 compared to 10.6.1 offer any performance improvements?

2. I am afraid the upgrade will render the machine unusable. Any ideas on how I can preform a full backup (including boot records, etc) so I can restore easily?

3. Currently I have a single partition with SL installed. I am thinking of shrinking the partition and turning the machine into a dual boot with XP (7 seems too slow for this machine). Any guide on how to do it without reinstalling the system again?
