Well, thanks for the info. It's been ok sticking to 10.6.0 for me for now, but it's good to have the option if I realize the need for updating.
I like having the sound working, as the sound in my desktop system is pretty flaky.
Do you notice the supposed improvements in the OS updates? Is there any speed improvement? That'd be the one problem I seem to have, though it might be Thunderbird or Firefox overload. I suppose I'll try using Chrome only, and the OSX Mail program to see if they're more efficient.
I also might need to set the time aside to put in the RAM upgrade.
