Hello all, I have a mini 10v now and I'm looking to install Snow Leopard on it. According to Mechdrew's site, a 16gb flash drive is required for install. However, the SL img used is around 7 gb. Can I get by with an 8GB flash drive, or do I really need 16gb. I'd like to go as cheap as possible and 16gb doubles the price. Also: Is there a way to rig my 8gb ipod touch to work only as a bootable flash drive? I can afford to lose everything on there, as long as I can restore to factory settings at some point own the road... |

Mine is an 8 gig San Disk cruzer. He says use a 16 gig because some 8 gig sticks are just a bit too small.
