Default bluetooth advice - 03-12-2010, 07:43 PM

Hi

Today I took delivery of the 10v internal bluetooth module and installed it ok. A message was popping up about setting up a bluetooth dun network so I took advice off of here and set one up. Now everything seems all good and well and devices are connecting no problems but when I look in the preferences part a whole load of random numbers are being shown. I've attached a picture of this. Is this correct and is it just with the network dun being set up?

Cheers

Rob

These are either bluetooth devices in your home, or your neighbors devices - no worries.

You can set it up to only work with your paired devices.

Hope this helps.

Thanks macaroni thats makes perfect sense thank you. My neighbours computer seems to have bluetooth enabled and picked that up when I had a bluetooth dongle under windows 7. How would I go about removing them?

It's not very noticeable, but there's a tiny minus (-) sign at the lower left....just select the one you want to get rid of and hit the minus. And that's it.
