Spank 2798. Relax and don't go nuts. I'm a licensed mental health professional; you're in good hands (at least for your MH concerns).
BT on the Dell Mini parallels my
BT experience generally. Not as positive as I'd like it to be. Having said that,
BT on the MINI seems to work fairly well if all the horses are lined up. First, and I say this only because I'm at Starbux, I'm not sure which
BT module this is that you are referencing. I always get my mine directly from Beijing via eBay. I've put together lots of these DM-10Vs, and have had a few were the
BT didn't work initially. Once I wrote the seller-guy in Beijing to complain and he replied, "we have had lots of failures of our
BT module. Tell me how many have failed and I'll send you replacements." I did, he did, and now we're good. So, given this, you COULD have a faulty module. Next, and I'm not so sure of the latest iteration of NBI but
BT may be fixed there, and as noted, you should run that latest NBI now and every time that you do a hardware mod. Finally, I always go into the terminal and tweak my
BT manufacturer ID as noted on the attached .pdf file. With the
BT ID correctly identified, you should have the same
BT flexibility that one would experience on an MBP, for example.
The attached document is from a "legacy" post on this board, but I copied for myself only that which was relevant to me and did not include the source (author). To whomever that is, thank you, and my apologies.
Please note the text is old, for instance, it references DellEFI, and now we all use NBI. Just work around these issues and get to the part where you enter terminal and see if this helps.
Take care.
