I hackintoshed my mini 10v. I unfortunately forgot what the admin password is. I am not aware of any way to change it without knowing the current password. So I was told to reinstall osx. I'm trying but when I try to boot from the USB with all the files, the computer goes straight to the desktop booting from the harddrive.

Anybody have some words of wisdom for me?

yeah reboot into your bios, make sure usb legacy is enabled, then go over to "boot" go down and highlight usb drive and move it to the top of the list. plug in your usb, and hit f10 to save changes and reboot.
