I've been through several rounds of installs so I'm not new to this.
On this most recent go-around, I wanted to install Snow Leopard and XP as a dual boot. I know that SL doesn't support MBR partitions, but I found a modified OSInstall.mpkg and OSInstall file that allows it.
I modified my USB key installer with those two files, booted from it.
Repartitioned into two partitions, MBR partition table, and reformatted (usual format for mac, plus MSDOS for the future XP), no problems.
Installed SL just fine. System reboots.
I see the Chameleon bootloader, loads the osx partition. Big SL apple in the center of the screen. Wait...
Churn, churn, churn. Screen goes blank. I hear the setup music, and after randomly hitting a couple of keys, voiceover instructions.
Any ideas? I'm wondering if some of the EFI stuff got missed. I reinstalled and same problem.
