I'm brand new to hackintosh, i just got the Dell 10v yesterday. I was able to upgrade the RAM from 1GB to 2GB, after that Ubuntu had audio. So i proceed to install Snow Leopard. It installed successfully, the intro video had music and even when it took my picture for the profile. After that i went ahead to do the system updates and when it came back i had no audio. I went to settings>sounds and I can not see there any input or output devices. Is there any drivers i need to load? Any idea what could be wrong? I follow the USB guide from mechdrew website. Any help will be much appreciated.

OK, i found post of someone with the same problem, some one told him to run NBI 0.8.3 final... but the NBI that i find is 0.8.3 RC5. Where can i get the final, or are both the same?
