Make sure USB Legacy is Enabled in the BIOS. Also, press F12 at the Dell screen and choose USB. If it still doesn't boot into the Chameleon bootloader, then yes something is not working right with the NBI USB drive. Try using a different flash drive.

USB Legacy is Enabled, and I have tried writing the NBI flash on different flash drives. But I still get the "BOOTMGR is missing" prompt on each try. So I don't know what the problem is.

That error is (under the circumstances) normal and has nothing to do with the drive not working. Are you using F12 to select the boot from USB option?

I found out I had an image that was only 6.13GB when it should be 7.24GB.

I am downloading a new image now and will test in the morn'.

Now when I am booting into OSX via NBI I get the grey screen telling me to reboot?

Should I downgrade my BIOS from A06?

Did you use a retail Snow Leopard disc to prepare your image, rather than a downloaded or 'borowed' copy?

It shouldn't now be necessary to download you BIOS.

Also, have you tried different USB 'sticks', as some have been known to cause problems.

Mini 10v - Product (RED) - BIOS A06 - Ubuntu 11.04 - 2GB RAM - 60 GB OCZ Vertex SSD - Bluetooth - Intel 6205 Wi-Fi - WWAN

Yeah it is retail and I only have a 8GB usb to use for the snow leopard image. I am now on BIOS A04 and I still get to that god forsaken screen!
