Default Rebranding Broadcom 802.11a/b/g/n Cards as Airport - 02-28-2010, 07:52 PM

can i re-brand my wifi 1510 on my mini 10v in xp then change my hard drive and install osx so it shows as an airport card ?

or is there an easy way of doing it after i install OSX

No, download an Ubuntu LiveCD .iso file and put it on your USB drive using this tool.

sorry that link make no sense to me

any chance you can just link me to the correct download please as there seemed to be many links there and i had no idea what i was looking at, also was that link for running ubuntu in OSX or XP ?

You can also run the ubuntu live from an extern CD player via USB.

That was successful for me.

Click the Link, and in the third post you ll find another Link, there is the guide you need.

For Ubuntu Live 9.10 download google it you need 32bit version.




Another question:

Do someone know wich kext i can delete after rebranding my card, or was it just enough to rerun the NBI?
