Default Bluetooth Message on startup - 02-24-2010, 07:50 PM

Hi,

I have self installed bluetooth module 2.1 I used the below module.

DELL J613H 2.1 Bluetooth module + cable for mini 10 10v on eBay (end time 26-Feb-10 06:20:49 GMT)

The bluetooth module works flawless in windows 7.

The module clearly picks up in SL 10.6.2 but I get the following message upon boot up all the time.

__________________________________________________
A new network interface has been detected.

The "Bluetooth DUN" network interface has not been setup.
To setup this interface, use Network Preferences.

No, that is normal. Do as it says and create a "Bluetooth DUN" network interface using Network Preferences, and the message will go away. Why Apple doesn't do this for you or at least offer to do so is beyond me...

If "not" should have been "now" (I'm guessing so), great!
