I recently hackintoshed my Dell Mini 10v and it has been working flawlessly, but last night I went into disk utility and attempted to erase the free space on my hard drive. After about an hour it said it was creating a "temporary" file and the progress bar wasn't moving at all. Eventually a notification popped up saying something like, "your hard drive is empty" and the progress bar wasn't moving, I waited like this for about an hour and eventually had to click skip in order to cancel the process. It deleted the "temporary" file and all the space on my hard drive was back but restarting, shut down, and boot up takes SIGNIFICANTLY longer now. Before I attempted this my hackintosh 10v shut down in literally a matter of seconds and took maybe 30-45 seconds to boot up. Now it takes about a minute to shut down and 3 or 4 minutes to to fully boot up.
If anyone could help me I would REALLY appreciate it, thanks.
