Default Need help reenabling battery charging - 02-13-2010, 09:38 AM

I'm an idiot. I was booted up in Windows XP and I ran some battery utility on there that disabled battery charging until next reboot. I never got around to rebooting it into XP to reenable charging before I installed OSX and now I can't figure out a way to get the battery to start charging again. It's stuck on 35% and decreasing every second I use it while it's not plugged in.

Can anybody think of an idea that doesn't involve reinstalling XP, then installing OSX again?

I used to have the same problem with you. My solution is install Windows 7 and create dual boot. Although it's complicated and time-consuming but worth it! I'm happy to have both OSes on my mini 10v

also, i have a question.

while using XP, we had a brilliant app battery meter which could allow us to charge the battery or not charge it and use the pc with mains. Is there sth else like this that we could use in OSX?

using SL 10.6.2 dell mini 10v
