You can just leave the terminal open with the commands of on/off ready.....test WON'T work....haha......but once you realize mirroring will not work, just click on your screen to activate terminal, and hit enter so the 'mirroring off' command will be executed.....good to go.

i tried several methods and this is the one that finally fixed my problem. thanks browndog!

Default unmirroring - 09-01-2010, 01:00 PM

I tried the downloading and i couldnt get it to work! I put in applications then placed the word mirror in spotlight but no go. any ideas what i might have done wrong? also i dont understand exactly what a terminal is on the mini. As you can see im not very computer smart! thanks for any help wjw452

Just wanted to thank the users in this thread -- hopefully you've saved my ass. I had a really embarrassing night where I had enabled mirroring and as a result, had to give my presentation without visuals.
