Default Trackpad question - 01-29-2010, 07:02 AM

Hi Everyone,

Just instaled OSX on my new dell mini 10v and had some questions about the trackpad.

Before installing OSX I was able to tap the trackpad to select items. I am now no longer able to do that - I need to click the actual button.

Is this just me or is it the same for everyone?

Secondly, two finger scrolling doesn't seem to be working for me. Any ideas how to make it work?

Thank you so much.

You need to adjust your settings in the Trackpad preference pane. It is in the system preferences under other at the bottom.

Both of these are adjustable there. Enable them, and for two finger scrolling, under the advanced tab, drag the threshold slider towards low for more sensitivity.

I'm new to OSX

I had looked in the mouse settings but missed the trackpad settings on the bottom.

Thanks to everyone at mydellmini forums for being such a great help!!
