Did the 10V ever run properly with the F120 installed and either Windows or Linux?

No problem installing Win 7 or XP. Installed OSX on the SSD using a MacBook without a problem. I took the easy way out and exchanged the Corsair for a Kingston instead and it is running fine now

That's how I did mine and everything went flawless and very quick.
On the Mac creating the USB install disk took just under 15 minutes - no special software needed, you do it right in the Mac disk utility application.
Did your friend have Snow Leopard running in order for you to create the install disc on the USB drive? What type of USB drive did you use?

I seem to have run out of options for creating the image on a Win 7 machine; starts installing then fails part way through. Will need to try it again on my wife's Tiger machine once Meklort releases the updated NBBM+NBI tomorrow.

Any help appreciated!

Is your "USB Legacy Support" enabled in the Bios? Have you set it to boot from USB? What brand USB are you using?.......Sandisk seem to be the best and not all are compatible.
