| Junior Member Posts: 1 Join Date: Jun 2010 | I installed mac osX fine and perfeclty on my 10v When i went to install the latest updates it said it couldn't install them and it restarted, now when it boots up it stay on the same screen with a grey apple Any suggestions on how to fix this, should i just reinstall? |

| Member Posts: 95 Join Date: Aug 2010 | Maybe people where the hard drive does not show up in Mac disk utility should find a friend with a Mac and create the USB OS 10.6 install disk on the Mac to see if that helps. That's how I did mine and everything went flawless and very quick. On the Mac creating the USB install disk took just under 15 minutes - no special software needed, you do it right in the Mac disk utility application. |

| Junior Member Posts: 24 Join Date: Dec 2009 | @krs999 The thing is that is exactly what I have done and the ssd doesn't show up in Disk Utility. But it did show up when using the NetBookCD method. Unfortunatly the NBI didn't function at reboot. It seems my 10V is not a fan of the Corsair F120. |
