Default ssd tweaking for 10v? - 01-20-2010, 11:59 PM

Hey Campbellsoup here and I just got my 60gb ocz SSD and Internal Bluetooth yesterday and installed it last night, very happy for the fact that I had replaced it with a 320gb momentus from seagate that was clicking. and not with the ssd it runs 20'C cooler. and it physically makes no noise at all kinda of scary really not even a hum ( no spinning disks/or fans). so super cool. and I now have my laptop tethered with my phone so i not have internet basically everywhere. But I'm not overly impressed with the ssd speed, mabey I had my hopes quite high, but the bootup didn't really speed up too much (1 min 10sec to 50 sec) I was just wondering if there was any tweaking that can be done to boost the overall speed of my ssd on my hackintosh, also since installing the ssd and bluetooth, my cursor disapears when I wake it up from sleep, Thanks!!!

Why do you think that the SSD is the limiting factor? I doubt the cursor has anything to do with the SSD.

I'm moving this to the OS X section.

No I was just merely wondering if there was anyways that the ssd could be improved by updating firmware or altering OS 10.6.2 to better handle a ssd?
