Default HDD Upgrade with Carbon Copy Cloner - 01-09-2010, 10:48 PM

I'm trying to upgrade my HDD to 500GB and decided to use Carbon Copy Cloner. First, I used Disk Utility to erase the drive using Journaled partitioning. Then used CCC to make an exact clone of my 160GB HDD. Cloning itself took about 3 hours and went pretty smooth. It even mentioned that the new HDD would be bootable when finished.

Swapped out the drives and went to boot up and i'm getting an "Operating System Not Found" error message. I found a similar thread that mentioned reloading Chameleon using DellEFI, but this sounds outdated for the new snow leopard guides. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Nevermind. Figured it out. For those in the same boat...

You need to put your original HDD back in and run the netbookinstaller on the new HDD while it's connected via USB.
