Default USB Boot key issue - 01-05-2010, 04:54 AM

I created my 2 USB keys with windows, one with NBI_083F dd Image and the other from an ISO created from a Retail OSX DVD.

When I boot I'm getting the Chameleon loader showing 4 icons, the first 2 are Windows NTFS and the last 2 are hard drives. I've tried selecting all of them and am not getting the Mac OSX install DVD icon as described in step 4 of the mechdrew's guide.

Any suggestions?

BTW, I'm doing this on an EEE 1005HA.

Try redoing the ISO jump drive, maybe even do it as a DMG file. My guess is it's not recognizing the ISO, either bad write or bad jump drive maybe.
If that doesn't work try buying a Dell or a brand appropriate forum,
