Default How do I get Startup Keys to work on OSX? - 01-04-2010, 07:41 PM

I would like to boot my 10v (dual boot OSX SL and Win7) into single user mode using Cmd+S during startup but the boot loader from NBI seems not to recognize the keys are pushed and I can only boot normally into OSX. Is there a trick to making this work? I have tried other choices such as Shift to get into safe mode and same problem, it just keeps on booting no matter when I start holding down the key.

I've found that if I go into setup (F2) and then exit without saving I seem to get an OS X image and a countdown. Hitting some other key (don't recall which one) aborts the countdown and gives me boot alternatives if I have a usb drive attached.

Press F8 while on the Chameleon bootloader and type -s.
Or type -x to get into safe mode.
