This x-mas a friend asked me to hack a 10v. Made a comparison with mine.

This using the newest RC5, both installs are identical.

Stock 10v 1GB 160GB 5400rpm - poweroff to wifi - 1.08s
My 10v (1 month old) 2GB 7,200 - 1.05s
My 10v with speedstep - 1.38 (but well worth the wait)

I will be with my friend in a couple of days, will try speedstep on his and compare too. And I hope to finally be able to test my "cloning performance trick" that works like a charm for big hacks... have no idea on our small Atoms... If it does work, from the times presented by Nezil in the previous post, will make cloned HDD faster and snapier than non-cloned SSD's...

(wow that was a big statement, but numbers dont lie....)

The BlackMini 10v | 2GB | Seagate 320GB 7,200 rpm | A06 -> A04 (NBI 0.8.3 RC5) | OSX 10.6.2 | Voodoo Power Mini (w/ Sleep Stepping) | ******* My easy 10v trackpad and palm rest mod ->
