Default I Think NBI 0.8.3 Final is Broken When Installing SL on 10v - 01-02-2010, 11:58 AM

i tried 7 times using NBI 0.8.3 Final and everytime i failed and got an error message saying support files failed to install i wondered what if i try something else it's worth a shot

so ...

i tried RC5 and what do you know everything installed without a hitch i think their is a problem with the final release of NBI 0.8.3 when installing SL on new mini 10v anyway i was using a hard drive so it might just be for hard drives but i cant see that

i was tempted once the installer finished to use the final release to install bootloader and files however i used the RC5 again just to be on the safe side until more info can be provided on the matter

Well, since you are the first one this has happened to, I think it is just you.

You should report your findings on the Google Code Bug tracker page-

I built my dual-boot 10v with 0.8.3 Final, and it works fine.
