Edited the image with Transmac to update the OSInstall and OSInstall.mpkg files. (maybe that's the problem?) The installer says: OSInstaller[152]: Failed to verify AddressBook.pkg OSInstaller[152]: Failed to download package from file://localhost/System/Installation/Packages/AddressBook.pkg and no alternate source. OSInstaller[152]: Installer failed: The installer could not copy the necessary support files. * Edit * Using NBI 0.8.3 final OSInstall files are from Installing Snow Leo (retail) for OSX86 | Prasys' Blog |

I think that image writer worked for NBI 0.83.img on a smaller USB stick. ---------- Post added at 03:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:47 PM ---------- It did not work. Now, I'm getting really frustrated. I downloaded NBI_083F image from here. Is this the latest release? |
