Default 10v and Trackpad issue - 12-31-2009, 02:17 AM

Hi all,

I installed 10.6 on my Mini 10v following the instructions on Gizmodo. I have two questions though...

1 - I upgraded to 10.6.2 and ran the NetbookInstaller app, but my trackpad still isn't working great. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do to make it better?

2 - I now read that it is okay to upgrade to A06 BIOS (I downgraded to A04 during install because I thought I had to). Are there any advantages to going back up to A06 again?

I just Mac'd my 10v, I have Trackpad settings under Other in System Preferences.
I have no idea about the BIOS revision, mine came with A05 so I left well enough alone.

This morning my trackpad is hardly even working. It's like it doesn't sense my finger moving across it. I reinstalled the 10v extensions from NetBookInstaller, but that didn't seem to help.

Any thoughts?

Try your best to get to trackpad pref and set 1 finger gesture to the maximum. I also set 2 finger and 3 finger to max for easily using

Trackpad pref pane is in System Preferences. Change some settings and see what works for you. Usually it's too sensitive not underly sensitive.
