Default Owner of Splatter Green Mini 10v wants to know where to start? - 12-29-2009, 07:46 PM

Hi. I am owner of a nick edition mini 10v as of today. I have created a usb stick per normal hackintosh instructions. My failures in hackintoshing my asus p6t have brought me to this netbook route. I am somewhat familiar with the process, but I'm looking for the definitive route to running Snow Leopard (updateable) and windows 7. I have both legally. Can you point me to a thread that will get me started? I know the process somewhat:1) create usb bootable flash drive with retail dvd image restored to it using disk utility. 2) changing bios to boot from said usb 3) waving a magic wand that places appropriate drivers on the drive 4) drinking potion that tells me if i should install 7 before or after 5) praying that it is indeed true that i dont need to adjust my bios

Thanks guys!

You should have no problem, and no need to downgrade the BIOS.

When you install SL, set aside and format/partition whatever size you want for windows.
