Not the entire trackpad, but the corners, so you get a dual-zone sensitive trackpad.

7,200 rpm does generate more noise and heat, obviously, except certain tailored expensive drives. On big laptops with good overall speed 7200 vs 5400 does have a big impact.

The only situation where the 10v will actually benefit from a 7,200 rpm drive is if you edit videos/audio with it... or something of the sorts. Even torrents at 500k will do nothing...

IF you hook up ALL 3 USB drives and start shooting files all over the place... then maybe the drive's buffer will help speed up things...

Otherwise, and even still... the 10v clearly bottlenecks the speed.

1gb stock vs 2gb transcend 667 (10v limits to 533mhz) and 7200 16mb chache... from boot til desktop (with RC5) there is NO difference at all !
