Default No iPhoto? - 12-10-2009, 03:23 AM

I have been running my 10V with 10.6.2 for a few weeks now and LOVE it. Everything works fantastic. Tonight I (finally) noticed though that I do not have iPhoto in my application folder. I know I didn't delete it, so I'm wondering, where is it? I don't think it installed when I originally loaded OSX? Anyone else have this happen? How do i get it?

I tried to install iLife but install program said it could not be installed on this computer. I have not corrected "About this Mac" to recognize the processor.

"About this Mac" had no effect over any installs. iLife 09 is running on mine perfectly.

Yep, "About this Mac" holds no bearing on any software install. I am also running iLife 09 flawlessly.

I, too, just noticed that iPhoto did not install on my Mini 10v. Hmm? Does two cases make a trend?

Repeat "iPhoto" is not part of OS X 10. You must purchase the "iLife" suite of apps if you want iPhoto on your Dell.

Ahhh...got it. Thanks for setting me straight. I just downloaded Google's free Picasa anyway for an iPhoto replacement. Just have to find a free Web/HTML editor next. Figure iMovie, GarageBand, iDVD wouldn't have been practical on a Netbook anyway.
