I installed OSX on my S10-2 with an XP partition. I repartitioned with Ubuntu to create one Win partition and one Mac partition. I installed OSX and got it running just fine. Pressing F8 after the Lenovo boot screen and before the gray Apple screen allows me to choose between my bootable partitions. I have not messed with Boot Camp at all.

Here is the Dual Boot section, read up.
Just a friendly tip, forget Gizmodo. They are just putting up overly simplified versions of the instructions and guides people here have developed.

virtual-box and crossover pro work or at least for me.
I wouldn't create a whole partition just for XP, just a XP wine bottle in crossover to run you're XP apps ( check crossovers web site for app sorry program compatibility)
another good thing about crossover is it's cross windoz platform, so you can create bottles from 98 though to Vista.
a lot of people who report 3rd party software problems in SL on their 10v's could be to the fact that they don't instal "Rosetta" for SL on their instal disc.
bootcamp wont work as it can't assign a boot volume. In fact SL can't assign a boot volume for it's self, open s/p>> "start up disk" and the only option you should see is "network"
