Question Post Snow Leopard Question - 12-02-2009, 09:36 PM

Guys,

I'm extremely new to this who hackintosh, mac stuff, but I figured perfect time to start getting used to MAC OSX.

I have successfully install Snow Leopard Updated to 10.6.1

I realized last night when I updated to 10.6.2 my audio left.
Do i need to run install Extras to correct this issue?

Also My wifi works great on the laptop but today I plugged into a ethernet cable and my laptop was given an IP w/o any problem but I couldnt browse the internet, anythign I need to do to get the LAN working?

and lastly, on gizmoto I saw a posting for the updated trackpad driver would you guys recommend I go that route or just stick w/ the current driver loaded?

any help would be appreciate

Thanks,

Congrats on your first OSX install.

You can fix your sound issue by running NetBookInstaller 0.8.3 RC4 and then rebooting.

Have you tested out your 'sleep' functions on your Mini 10v? If you're having issues there are posts on here that can get you fixed up.

In regards to your internet issue.....I'm not really sure. I use WIFI at home and I've taken my machine to work and simple plugged in and my internet worked fine....but again I'm sure there is some help on other posts.

Good luck.

Im pretty sure netbook installer rc4 has an updated trackpad driver, you have to enable the settings in mac prefernces though (2 finger scrolling, sensitivity)

Ahh yeah, forgot to hit on that. dude245 is right.

I didn't have any issues with the trackpad and never had to download any fixes. Just made adjustments via System Preferences.....works fine.
