Default Can't change V05 options - 11-19-2009, 11:22 AM

I managed a successful install of OSX 10.6 on my mini 10v and upgrade to 10.6.1, or so I thought.
It has the sleep problem, so I went to the BIOS screen (A05) to disable the legacy USB support, but found the Legacy USB Support option and many others were no longer available for updating. The options are greyed out and the cursor won't move to them.
The only options I can change on the Advance screen are Intel SpeedStep Technology and On Board LAN Control.
On the Security sreen, only Set HDD Password (which I haven't done) and Computrace.
I can't change the boot order at all. Hard Drive is first.
When I hit F9 to restore Setup Defaults, it just beeps.
Not sure when this happened, but was obviously after did the external boot to run netbook installer.
I can still change the boot order using the F12 key. Should I just start over?
