Default Can't boot from USB - 11-19-2009, 04:58 AM

Hello all...

Trying to install Snow Leopard on the 10v (BIOS A05)....I've followed all of the instructions to make the bootable flash drive from my regular mac (Mac Pro). My 10v doesn't seem to "see" the bootable flash drive.....I've got it set to boot from USB Storage first. No matter what I do, it just boots XP from the main hard drive.
I am, however, trying to get this to boot from a 16GB Compact Flash card through a card reader. Is that my problem? Should I stop being a moron abd spend the $20 to get an 8GB flash drive?

Thanks in advance,
Alex

If your Mac cant see the installation device whether it be a flash or usb HD it ain't going to work on the Dell Mini. I used an external USB HD and it worked fine.
