Hey all, just looking for a quick bit of advice before I update to 10.6.1 so as to get it as right as possible.

Thus far, installed SL on 10v no problems using Gizmodo guide and netbootmaker (8.3 I think) and of course this great forum. I Have to say 10v has been working great, e.g sleep works, wifi, sound , Btooth etc without any major tweaking on my behalf. I am getting the odd kernal panic screen and having to restart, mildly annoying but nothing major.

Is the correct update procedure to run netbookinstaller, than download 6.1 update, install 6.1 and set and forget??

Also of note I have not actively run NBI yet on my 10v even though its sitting in my apps folder. Will running it prevent more kernal panics?? Noticed that 8.4 NBI is out, should i run that.
