Default How to remove efi_inject_get_devprop_string NULL trying stringdata - 11-11-2009, 07:26 AM

as the title says, I am running 10.6.2 following meklort's instructions on replacing the kernel.

Anyway what really bugs me right now is 2 things.

1) how to remove the efi_inject_get_devprop_string NULL trying stringdata message right before boot into the apple spinning gear logo.

2) how to enable hibernate without the "hibernate file too old by XXXX" and my bluetooth cutting out.

any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

I hope you get an answer. I also hope we dont see a flood of questions from people that upgraded early to 10.6.2 and want it working before a proper solution is found.

I've had these errors with the original 10.6 install.

The only way to get hibernate to work is with the replacement /boot file from another thread here. And that was for a 10.5.6/7/8 system. I have no idea if it'll work with SL at all. It works fine for me with 10.5.8

Thanks I did a fresh reinstall following gizmodo instructions and the update trackpad kext and update extensions.

Hibernate now works, and my bluetooth reconnects.

Still getting that EFI message on boot though, if anyone knows how to get rid if it, it would be perfect.
