Default Why is my Snow Leopard upgrade DVD only 986MB? - 11-07-2009, 02:52 AM

Hi all. I got interested in an OSX 10v after the Gizmodo article, and I'm going through the process right now. I'm following mechdrew's guide: I've got an A05 10v mini ready to go, and I've prepped my smaller USB stick. I'm attempting to rip the OSX .iso from the DVD I bought at MicroCenter on 10/31. My understanding was that the SL upgrade had everything I need on it. However, upon inserting it, I've noticed that it's only showing 986MB on the disc used, and the .iso comes out to just a little over a gigabyte, which is obviously quite a bit less than what I was expecting.

What am I missing here? Anyone have anything to offer?

edit: Solved. When you do this, use imgburn, not CDBurnerXP. The former will read the entire disc properly, which the latter (which I tried first) will not. Sorry for the unnecessary thread!
