For those that worry, the major difference between a 2.0 and 2.1 BT modules is that the 2.1 allows for a higher speed xfer when using the BT file transfer protocol. Otherwise they're identical.

Could someone possibly link me to where to find this bluetooth module that can be installed simply by removing my system's cover?

Offer them 21.00 they will accept it. Depending where you live, figure 7 to 9 days. The seller is in Houston, Tx. Just got mine yesterday. Installation took 3 minutes. Takeoff palm rest. Module snaps into place and cable plugs right in. The cable took the longest to install due to the placement of the cable receptor.

Works immediately on boot up. True plug and play

Welcome to the Forum Maurico

I believe some people have experienced problems with certain external dongles sourced from China etc, and of course itis something which has to always be plugged in, and takes up a USB port.

I know the internal one is more expensive, but once you have installed it, you can forget all about it!

When I ordered my 10v I specified an internal module, which I use with a BlueTooth mouse, and am pleased that I did so.

Hope this helps!

I have a BT dongle about the size of a half nickel and it works very well with my Magic Mouse. I use this at work when I have to sit in council chambers and the MM is great for scrolling when you don't have much mobility or space. Love it...

Quick question about the Magic Mouse, does anyone have erratic trackpad when connected to the Magic Mouse. My mouse is fine but when I use my trackpad while its connected, the trackpad is all over the place! It only happens when its connected. Does anyone know a fixed to it or is always going to be like that?
