Xcode and the iPhone SDK works perfectly on my Mini 10v.

Here's a couple of screenshots of my Mini 10v with Xcode.

Is it just me or is developing apps actually much easier than submitting them to the itunes store?! The process is SOOO complicated! We still haven't worked it out, lol!

I installed SDK...seems to be running fine, but I have not yet programed. I just started reading iphone Developer's Cookbook. Any other good books you would suggest?

Xcode certainly isn't going to win any awards for speed on the 10v, but it's very usable. Biggest limitation is the small screen for side by side debugging and running the device simulator, as others have mentioned.

I would suggest anyone interested in iPhone programming grab the developing course videos from Stanford University and watch them, it's much easier to understand than bury your head into a bunch of SDK documents.

The course I mentioned above is free download from iTunes U, exact name of the collection is "iPhone Application Development (Winter 2010)".

Also...quoted from one of my early post:

The short answer is yes, you can do iPhone development on it. Xcode is totally fine, Interface Builder is usable but you need to move windows around since the screen can't handle all of them at once, iPhone simulator is...well not that great, you will have to use the 50% scale which it defaults to, or use 100% but drag it around since you can't see all of it in portrait mode.

Default Quartz Composer - 06-12-2010, 01:13 PM

Does anyone know if the Quartz Composer thats a part of the Iphone SDK works? Instead of the "Unsupported Configuration" error? Can you show some pics of you using QQuartz Composer on the 10v please? Thanks
