Default Cloning OSX drive in 10v - 10-11-2009, 02:36 PM

Not sure what I am doing wrong, so I though I would ask here...

Dell Mini 10v with Snow Leopard. Want to clone to a bigger drive via USB.

Downloaded SuperDuper and everything appears to go fine until the very end when SuperDuper says it is unable to set the new drive to Bootable. Details show that, for some reason, it thinks the System folder is not right.

I am performing the cloning while booted from the source drive (not booted from a DVD, etc.).

Should this work?

(oh, and obviously, when I DO attempt to boot from the newly cloned drive, it fails).

Did you get any answers to this? I'd like to do the same.

You might wanna try "Carbon Copy Cloner". That's what I'm using and it does the job with no hassle. It' donationware.
