Default Hibernate Image file too old by XXX Seconds - 10-05-2009, 10:11 AM

I don't know if this has been discussed before, I have searched the forum a bit, but still haven't found a solution for this.

When I start the computer, I edited my Boot.plist so quiet boot was enabled and the timeout is 0 seconds. That removes the first screen i want gone on boot.

The next screen says something along the lines of Hibernate image file is too old by {insert random number here} seconds. Then it says something about forceWake=yes and boots to the apple screen with the wheel.

I just want to turn the comp. on, see the BIOS screen then go straight to the Apple bootloader with the wheel. Can somebody explain to me how to get this hibernate image file is too old screen off/delete the image file or whatever it takes to get past this?

Thanks!

I have this message with the old hibernation-file, too.

And under this message for just a second it appears:

efi_inject_get_devprop_string NULL trying stringdata

you can also type wait=y and it'll pause before it loads OS X.

Me too! I got some ridiculous amount of seconds....24743 or something like that, but being new to OS X, I didn't know if it was abnormal, and everything seemed to work after that...

Sorry....Mini 9, 10.5.8, 1GB, 32GB, Netbook Installer .8.3 RC2

P.S. Which option is it to set the specs permanently? Signature? Thanks
