Default Any difference between the 10v and the 10vn? - 09-29-2009, 01:19 PM

I was on the dell site looking at the 10v and noticed they have a 10vn which comes with Linux and you can upgrade to 2 gig of ram. Video card was the same and it seemed like everything else was the same.

Is there anything about the 10vn that wont work with OSX?

I think the "n" suffix just means that it comes with Linux preloaded. The hardware is the same.

For example, my Mini 9 has a "n series" sticker instead of the usual Windows sticker. And I haven't heard of any hardware variations between it and the Windows models.

Mini 9 | Intel 5100 Wifi | Ubuntu 10.04 Netbook
Mini 1012 | SSD | Intel 6200 Wifi | Ubuntu 11.10 64bit

Same here. I got the "10vn" and it has the "n Series" sticker on it... preloaded with Ubuntu
