Default Memory Limitation on 10v ? - 09-28-2009, 11:50 PM

Ordered a refurb 10v with WinXP (only choice) and 1GB memory.

I know that a lot of users have upgraded the 10v to 2GB.

Question: Is there any hardware or BIOS limitation on the memory with 10v machines shipped with WinXP ?
Has anyone successfully upgraded to 2GB on a machine that came with Windows?

No, there is no limitation. You can ugprade the 1011/10v to 2GB, regardless of which OS shipped with it.

I had no issue with the RAM upgrade. Ran WinXP (default install), OS X 10.5.6, and Win7.
