I am sure you could find one cheaper than that on eBay!

7.05 hrs fresh install and normal browsing with chrome, not firefox, which seems to use always 30% of the cpu, adblock+installed, some emacs editing, low brightness

i do agree. it'll be fully charged when i throw it on my desk and head to work...and when i get home it'll be at a 1/4 battery life. i'm not sure how well sleep mode is working.

Far be it for me to complain, I would much rather have my Mini 10v with SL on it than say an asus with 10hr battery life and XP, but it seems like perhaps 2-3 hrs of battery life is quite below that of other netbooks.

someone school me, please. Thanks for the info!

(and just as a general rule of thumb (even though it's in no way related to this thread), thanks to meklort for all his work)
a good 5-6 hours on a cell. You could turn down ur graphic exposure... Trying installing speedstep with the voodoo driver. Turn off wireless, lower brightness.. but your experience is going to drop greatly.

get a 6 cell

Mini 10V | 1.6GHz | 2GB | 16GB SSD | GMA 950 | OSX | ~$180ish | Wireless-N | 6-Cell |
M1340 | 2.4GHz x2 | 4GB | 320GB 7.2K-RPM | Nvidia SLi 9400M + 9200GS | 7-RTM | $500.00 | WEI: 5.3 |
